Tyramide Signal Amplification Plus (TSA Plus) kits offer all the great benefits of Tyramide Signal Amplification (TSA™) but with even greater sensitivity.  TSA Plus is a modified substrate for HRP. The formulation includes novel enhancers that improve the efficiency of the signal amplification reaction.

• 10-20 times higher sensitivity than regular TSA
Proprietary enhancers in TSA Plus deliver the highest deposition
of signal molecules for best sensitivity. Some researchers report
detection of single molecules.

• Outstanding resolution and clarity
The TSA Plus labelling reaction generates highly reactive intermediates
that bind covalently to tyrosine residues in the immediate vicinity of
target molecule. The short half life of the TSA Plus reactive intermediate
assures outstanding localization to the target. Labelling molecules
that do not bind to the target form dimers that are simply washed away.

• Reduce non-specific background
TSA Plus allows very high dilution of primary antibodies and probes for IHC and ISH experiments - 1:100,000 and higher dilutions of a 1 mg/ml stock are common. High dilution reduces background and improves specificity of detection.

• Ideal for use with low affinity antibodies
Low affinity antibodies often provide weak signals in immunoassays. TSA Plus offers a direct route for signal enhancement and improved results.

• Conserve precious reagents by using higher dilutions of primary antibodies and probes
TSA Plus allows you to get more information from a limited supply of primary antibody or probe. In some cases, the cost per assay may be reduced by incorporation of TSA Plus.

• More options for investigation of co-localization
TSA Plus labels are covalently bound and will not be disturbed by subsequent staining procedures. TSA Plus has been used for multi-target staining using 2 primary antibodies from the same species.
