  • Air Toxics and Ozone Precursor Analyses by Thermal Desorption with GC or GC/MS Webcast

Thank you for your interest in the webcast “Air Toxics and Ozone Precursor Analyses by Thermal Desorption with GC or GC/MS”!

This webcast provides an overview of ozone precursor and air toxics analyses and the application of thermal desorption technology followed by a description of the method details and results for environmental samples.

The following air-quality testing applications are demonstrated:

  • Analysis of air toxics by U.S. EPA Method TO-17 – PerkinElmer, in accordance with established methodologies, developed an Air Toxics Analyzer, which integrates thermal desorption with GC/MS into a single, unified system solution, allowing characterization of airborne toxics specified in U.S. EPA Method TO-17.
  • Analysis of ozone precursors by U.S. EPA Clean Air Act – PerkinElmer, in conjunction with the U.S. EPA, developed an analyzer and methodology for collecting and automatically measuring C2-C11 without the use of liquid cryogen, allowing unattended operation with automatic system calibration and full data processing.

Presenters:

Steve Bailey, Connecticut Department of Environmental Protection
