• Webcast: Fuel Diluents and Glycol in Used Motor Oil by GC

Thank you for your interest in the webcast "Fuel Diluents and Glycol in Used Motor Oil by GC"

This webcast describes the benefits of gas chromatography (GC – without sample preparation) utilizing the PreVent pressure-balanced system for the determination of fuel in used engine oil, resulting in a 10x increase in analytical throughput of oil samples. A headspace-gas chromatography (HS-GC) method is also described for analysis of glycol in used engine oil using a simple derivatization technique providing significantly enhanced sensitivity and accuracy. An expert in the lubricants-analysis field gives an overview of gas chromatography technology, followed by a description of the method details and results for both fuel and glycol in used motor oil samples.
